Returns and Refunds Policy

At African Grey Breeders, we strive to ensure every parrot we deliver is healthy, well-adjusted, and exactly as portrayed. However, we understand that unforeseen issues may arise. To provide peace of mind, we offer a 90-day return and refund window under the following conditions:

  1. Health and Wellness Guarantee:
    If the parrot arrives with a permanent illness that was not disclosed or the parrot’s health deteriorates within the first 90 days, you may be eligible for an exchange or refund. This is conditional upon a certified veterinary report confirming the illness. We only accept claims for permanent health issues, and the refund or exchange process will start once the report is submitted.

  2. Not as Described:
    In rare cases where the parrot does not match the description or images provided, you may request an exchange or refund. This applies to situations where there are significant discrepancies in physical traits, personality, or overall condition that deviate from the description provided prior to the sale.

  3. Refund Process:
    If a refund is deemed necessary, it will be processed through the original payment method within 14 business days of receiving the parrot back in our aviary. Refunds may also take into account any shipping fees incurred.

  4. Exchange Process:
    Should you choose to exchange the parrot, we will arrange for a new parrot that fits your original specifications to be shipped. Exchanges are subject to availability, and any additional shipping fees will be covered by us.

  5. Return Shipping:
    For returns due to illness or misrepresentation, African Grey Breeders will cover the return shipping costs. However, if the return is due to other reasons (i.e., a change of mind or preference), shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

  6. Eligibility for Return:

    • The parrot must be in its original health condition (unless illness is the reason for return).
    • You must provide a veterinary health report where applicable.
    • Returns must be initiated within 90 days of the parrot’s arrival.
